Championship Debate Tournament

Albion debaters competed in the championship debate tournament 4/28/22 at Mount Jordan middle school. Here are the students who placed in the top 20% of the hundreds of debaters competing that night:

Lincoln Douglas Debate:

Additionally:

  • Annie Allred won the MVP award for being Albion’s most successful overall debater in her 2 years of debate.
  • Ella Chruchill won the Coach’s award for being the debater with the most grit, determination, and perseverance.
  • Cian Castleberry, Jaxon Madsen, Ella Churchill, and Cadence Lund were also recognized for their commitment to debate. Since they’ve each chosen to take debate class 3 separate times, they were awarded a special 3-year debater award.
