Albion is collecting boxes of cereal from December 5th -16th that will be donated to an elementary school in Canyons District. The cereal will provide over 600 students with breakfast during the Winter Break. Our goal as a school is to collect 2,500 boxes. Harry Potter Month in the Library!

Posted in News & Announcements

hermioneThis month is Harry Potter month in the library and we are celebrating the opening of the new movie (November 18) in Potterhead style (with a school-wide reading contest)!

For each book you read this month (November), fill out one of the short reading reports (available from your English teacher or here in the library). The grade that has read the most books by November 30 will win a movie party in the Kiva!

These can NOT be books you've already read and must be novels (no children's books or very short books).

Accio books! (And good luck!)

For our November Book Club we will be discussing

The War That Saved My Life by Kimberly Brubaker Bradley.

This book is historical fiction and at various points will leave you feeling sad, angry, and then ultimately hopeful, empowered, and with a deeper understanding that family love conquers all--and sometimes family doesn't mean those you're related to.

This book is amazing!

Book Club will be November 15 at 3:00 in the Library. See you there!War that Saved
