Kindness Matters Week

Posted in News & Announcements

kindness collage

Albion has been celebrating Kindness Matters week since returning from Spring Break to kick-off the last quarter of the school year. Each day has had a theme from Throw Kindness like Confetti to #Makeithappy by Spreading Kindness Online. Students have been encouraged each day to show and recognize the kind acts around them. Students were also challenged to complete 17 acts of kindness here at school and at home as well as participate in self-care/being kind to yourself activities.

Students have also had the opportunity to participate in a hands-on service activity during their lunch. We were able to collect approximately 220 pairs of used jeans in the week prior to Spring Break. Thanks Albion community! These jeans are currently being turned into shoes for Sole Hope, a 501(c)(3) organization that makes shoes for Ugandans.
