This year all of our students are reading the Newbury Honor Award-Winning book The Many Assassinations of Samir, Seller of Dreams by Daniel Nayeri. Our community read will culminate with a visit from Daniel Nayeri on March 10-11. Students will participate in a variety of fun cross-curricular activities leading up to the visit and while he is at Albion.

Author Signing

All students have read the novel in their English classes. In addition, the author will be available to sign personal copies of the book on Monday, March 10th. Families will need to purchase books ahead of time as none will be available to purchase at the school.

Writing Contest

Students can win the opportunity to join Daniel Nayeri in a writer’s workshop. Details on how to enter the contest can be found HERE.

Parent Book Club

We are excited to announce Albion’s first Parent Book Club in support of our All Community Read. We invite all parents to read this fabulous book and come to the Media Center on February 18th at 5PM for an in-depth discussion and treats. RSVP using this LINK.
