Congratulations to Fiona Chen, Ethan Merkley, Nash Wong, Blake Lewis, Dorian Jack, Sam Wood, and Andrew High for bringing home the 2nd place trophy in this year’s district chess tournament!
The competition was fierce this year, and not only did we take 2nd place overall, but 8th grader Blake Lewis won first place in his chair, and 7th grader Sam Wood won first place in his chair! Albion students displayed top-notch sportsmanship and gave 100% effort during their games. We are all so proud of you! Great job, chess team!
