Congratulations to our Book Blitz teams “Penguins” and “BMMMS”! These two Albion teams tied for 2nd place at the Canyons School District Book Blitz Middle School Tournament on April 15 at Midvale Middle School.
A total of 16 teams competed from all of the middle schools in Canyons District. The 1st place award was also a tie (and was decided in a tense “overtime” round) between a Union Middle team and a Indian Hills team, with another Union Middle team coming in 3rd place.
We are so proud of Team Penguins: Mary Jane Robbins, Amelia Black, Abby Eliason, Zoe Hathaway, and Chloe Wilson and Team BMMMS: Sophie Quaintance, Molly Clayton, Minke Mostert, Becca Brown, and Marin Anderson for their supreme reading comprehension and quiz-tournament 2nd place triumph!
