March Madness Debate Tournament

Albion’s debate team competed in the March Madness tournament March 21st at Alta High School. Albion debaters competed fiercely against hundreds of other competitors (396 to be exact). Here are the exciting results. 


Policy Debate

  • FIRST Place Varsity Team – Will Croft and Lincoln Wong (also qualified for state)
  • 2nd Place Novice Team – Audrey Curry and Addie Poelman
  • 3rd Place Varsity Team – Gary Lyhnakis and Charlie Peterson (also qualified for state)
  • 4th Place Varsity Team – Marcus Broderick and John Vaughn (also qualified for state)


Lincoln-Douglas Debate
