  1. Call to Order and Approval of Agenda

a. 4:06 Julie motioned to call meeting to order; Member Steenblik seconded motion. All in favor.

b. Member Sadowski motioned to approve rules and procedures; Member Allred seconded. All in favor.

2. Member Steenblik proposed approval of minutes; Member Simao motioned to approve. Member Sadowski seconded motion. All in favor.

3. New Business/Principal’s report

a. RISE Data – went great. Students did well. Proficiency is on target, growth is shown is great. Overall basic school data shared.

b. Safe Walking Routes –The 4-way stop has been a concern because a crossing guard or some form of better cross walk identification needs to be added. Parents are officially concerned and frustrated and are considering to go to a city council meeting.

c. Land Trust & TSSA – preliminary plans

      1. TSSA money paid for interventionists who are extremely beneficial. The percentage of students on the Early Warning System (attendance, behavior, & grades)
        1. 2017 Q1: 87% students on track
        2. 2018 Q1: 88% students on track
        3. 2019 Q1: 92% students on track
      2. Home visits have begun; we have an additional 10 hour counselor.

4. Digital Citizenship Review –

    1. Questions were asked regarding the Digital Citizenship data.
    2. A copy of the report and responses to the questions will be sent to each member.

4. Logo Committee – next meeting is Friday, 12/6 at 1pm.

5. Counselor’s report

    1. Number of students reporting self-harm has decreased.
    2. The part-time counselor has been a phenomenal help to the counselors. It has been a relief to have her support. Catherine from Project Connection has also been excellent to have.
    3. PCCCR appointments for the 8th graders are effective and time consuming but helpful and worthwhile for parents and students.

6. Member Items and Comments

    1. Member Miller said she is attending a class at the district Parent Center and they suggested that each school’s counseling office is/should be providing an executive functioning class. This will be investigated. We work on executive functioning skills with students individually and as part of our schoolwide procedures (for example, the schoolwide planner).
