SCC Business

 

1. Teacher Recognition Subcommittee: Second Noble Knight Assembly

    • Wants more nominations; have a framework for more data points to share out during the assembly
    • Deadline is second week of January for nominations

 

2. Personal Devices Policy Update given by John Hellwig

    • Going very well; overall pleased with students

 

Principal Report

 

1. 2024 – 2025 RISE Data

    • ELA: 64% proficient; highest in the district even with this being a new test
    • Science: 76% proficient: keeping steady for the last few years
    • Math: 61% lower than years past, no more workbooks, getting new curriculum next school year, teacher turnover contribute to lower scores

 

2. MAP Data

    • Test fall, winter and spring
    • ELA: maintained: 84% proficient for Fall 2025
    • Math: lowered: 78% proficient for Fall 2025
    • Winter School wide incentive: Grade Level MAP Score Challenge – Winner gets field trip to either Top Golf or Classic Skate

 

Counselor Report

 

  1. CCP meetings are going well; great parent support; 8th grade will go to Brighton February 2026 for Rah Rah Assembly

 

PTA Report

 

  1. Need new board members for next school year

  1. Boundaries and permits are still in question
  2. No meeting in December
