SCC Business
- Action Item: Review Rules of Order and Bylaws: This school year there is a statewide audit:
- Per maximum number of members on SCC: 18 annually: Motion Kim Steenblik; Second: Anna Evenson: Approved
- Per Election of Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary: Positions will be voted on annually:
- Rotating Seats will be every other year: 9 seats per year will be rotated based on need and availability: Motion: Jessica Pohlman; Second: Anna Evenson
- Expectation of Attendance by Members: No more than 2 unexcused absences; Motion: Jessica Pohlman; Second Christie Taylor
- Teacher Recognition Subcommittee: First Noble Knight Assembly
- Teachers reset since the beginning of the award
- Google form created by Rachel Bills; can be used all year
- Personal Devices Policy Discussion and Vote
- Parent Feedback Review: 21 responses: 81% in favor, 19% against
- New Policy will start first day of Second Quarter, Tuesday October 28th. Motion to Adopt Policy: Kim Steenblik; Second: Kimball High; Unanimous Vote
Principal Report
- Safe Walking Routes: Same as Last School Year; will continue to put pressure on district to advocate for parking lot changes. Motion: Kim Steenblik; Second: Christie Taylor
- 24-25 RISE Data; postpone til November in hopes of having ELA Scores
- Halloween Update: Stomp, Movie in Kiva, Games in Library
- Proposed Boundary Changes Update: Eric shared with SCC that Albion is now the most impacted by the proposed changes; we need to be diligent about submitting permits on 11/15 and reading the proposal very thoroughly
Counselor Report
- Met with all 8th graders to start the process of HS CCP Meetings will take place over the next few weeks with parents for High School
PTA Report
- Red Ribbon Week is next week Other: Next Meeting November 18th
